Far Eastern University, Inc. (FEU), founded in 1928, and incorporated in 1933, is a private non-sectarian institution of learning comprising the following different institutes that offer specific courses namely, Institute of Accounts, Business and Finance; Institute of Architecture and Fine Arts; Institute of Arts and Sciences; Institute of Education; Institute of Law; Institute of Nursing; and Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management.
FEU has earned quality assurance accreditation from the ASEAN University Network (AUN-QA) for 16 of its academic programs, including BS Accountancy, BS Nursing, BS Medical Technology, BS Tourism, and MA Psychology. It operates its main campus in Manila and holds majority ownership in several educational institutions, namely East Asia Computer Center, Inc. (EACCI); FEU Alabang, Inc.; Far Eastern College Silang, Inc. (FECSI); FEU High School, Inc.; and Roosevelt College, Inc.
The Company also holds a 51% stake in Edustria, Inc., a newly-incorporated senior high school in Batangas, developed in partnership with the Technological Institute of the Philippines, Inc., which owns the remaining 49%. FEU also partnered with the Jerudong Park Medical Centre (JPMC) to establish the JPMC College of Health Sciences, in Brunei Darussalam, where it holds a 40% interest. FEU has also invested in Good Samaritan Colleges, Inc. (GSC), an educational institution in Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija, with a 34% ownership stake Additionally, FEU is a 50% owner of Higher Academia, Inc., a joint venture with Unilab Education to operate a basic and tertiary education facility in San Fernando, Pampanga. Finally, FEU is a major shareholder in Fern Realty Corporation, a real estate company with land holdings across commercial, residential, and educational developments.
