Manila Bulletin Publishing Corporation (MB) was founded as the Daily Bulletin on February 2, 1900 for the purpose of engaging in the publishing business. The Company was incorporated on June 12, 1912 as Bulletin Publishing Company and re-incorporated on September 25, 1959 as Bulletin Publishing Corporation. On June 22, 1989, the corporate name was amended to the present one.
Since then, the company has evolved into a multimedia entity, offering products, brands, and services across multiple platforms, including newspapers, tabloids, magazines, social media accounts, email newsletters, events, podcasts, and video.
The Manila Bulletin, one of the leading newspapers in the country, is published seven days a week, along with the tabloid newspaper Tempo. Balita, formerly a tabloid, is exclusively published online in Filipino.
The Company also publishes full-color magazines catering to various sectors of the reading public, such as Agriculture, Animal Scene, and Wedding Essentials. Additionally, it publishes vernacular magazines like Liwayway in Tagalog, Bisaya in Cebuano, and Bannawag in Ilocano, which highlight cultural development and stories from different provinces as well as national news of regional interest.
The Company is also noted for its annual events, the Sustainability Forum and the Newsmakers Awards, as well as its daily newsletter, The Morning Bulletin.
